It seems that there are more dandelions than usual this year. Large expanses of green are dotted with these cheery little drops of color and make for a pretty picture . Yet a lot of time and effort and money is spent trying to get rid of them. Some see a field of weeds and some see a field of wishes. What do you see?

Neat picture, Stephanie! I love the dandelions with the huge huge heads. So pretty and artistic.
ReplyDeleteInspiring macro.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. Will make me look at my dandelions differently.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I've definitely come to appreciate weeds more with photography. Beauty is all around!
ReplyDeleteLovely image and poem.
ReplyDeleteI like that poem and your photo! Dandelions are awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI love dandelions so I guess I see fields of wishes. Wonderful composite!
ReplyDeleteOh I do like the addition of the prose. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful that you found the beauty in the lowly dandelion. Don't let those seeds spread though. Valerie
ReplyDeletePerfect texture and edit.
ReplyDeleteLove the texture on this one!
ReplyDeletelove, love dandelion shots and this one is beautiful. so fluffy!!
ReplyDeleteYour edit is marvelous, funny how weeds are some of my favorite to photograph.
ReplyDeleteYour photo makes me want to see them as wishes!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and great question! If its in my yard, I see weeds. If its in a field, I see wishes. Although I have to admit that it's been years since I've made a wish on one. Hmmm, maybe I should give that another try.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot. I see a beautiful sea of yellow when they are in bloom. They are one of Nature's beauties. To me a weed is an unwanted plant. But, I want most plants.

Pretty image Stephanie. Nicely processed. Dandelion puffs in great light on somebody else's property-good. Too many dandelion puffs in my yard without enough money or desire to weed/feed-not so good.
ReplyDeleteBTW-that new header I really like.
I see my childhood... when we would blow the seeds apart and make a wish.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image with just the right light.
Gorgeous, love dandelions
ReplyDeleteDandelions are cheerful, aren't they?! We don't get them where I live.
ReplyDeleteDear Texture Tuesday friends,
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you know that Kim's husband is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Leukemia in Winnepeg. I would like for us TT followers to do something special for Kim and John this week. If you are able, could you create a Texture Tuesday image with the theme of HEALING for Kim and John, and post it on her Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/kimklassencafe this Tuesday? I would love to see a big show of support and love for them.
Thank you,
Joyelle Brandt, Texture Tuesday fan
