Is it possible to get a cup of coffee-flavored coffee anymore in this country? What happened with coffee? Did I miss a meeting? They have every other flavor but coffee-flavored coffee. They have mochaccino, frappaccino, cappuccino, al pacino…Coffee doesn’t need a menu, it needs a cup.-Denis Leary
When I found this quote of Denis Leary I knew exactly where he was coming from. Fancy coffees are fine during the day or for dessert but give me a regular cup of coffee in the morning.

Love it. I love simple subjects with character!
ReplyDeleteI love, love your coffee pot - wonderful edit!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that and I love those photos in your header!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of this subject. I've been a hazelnut girl, with a touch of cinnamon for a long time-but once in awhile I get just plain. "Breakfast Blend" or "Columbian Wake Up Call", but no Al Pacino.
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you how much I think your blog header is just precious! Great job! Yes...coffee please☺

I just love this, I haven't seen one of those old coffee pots in ages.
ReplyDeleteI'll second "Breakfast Blend" as well, as long as you don't like your coffee too strong.
Love your photo and the use of texture. I've yet to experiment with textures but your shot has given me a push.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pot! Lovely processing! I'm a Starbucks person- but certainly appreciate a good cup of "regular" coffee- nice and strong!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's so great to see a pot with character! Wonderful processing.
ReplyDeleteThere's just something so nostalgic about that coffee pot :-) Love your processing and the quote is quite funny.
ReplyDeleteYep...just a normal cup of coffee, please. Loved the image and the quote.
ReplyDeleteI love that wonderful old pot. Great processing too!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I can't find a decent ground coffee here in New Zealand, so I have to settle for Nescafe instant. It will do--a lot better than any fancy, schmancy stuff! You can't get a 'regular' cup in most restaurants here, which makes me sad.....
ReplyDeletewhat a delightful coffee pot! reminds of one my grandmother used to have.
ReplyDeleteI like this!
ReplyDeleteToo funny about coffee. I don't drink it but I totally agree there so many flavors that I think they forgot what it is supposed to taste like.
ReplyDeleteCoffee, my favorite morning necessity.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom collects tea pots. Your coffee percolator would fit right in with her collection.
Love the simplicity of this!
ReplyDeleteLinda imagem, lembra o aconchego da casa da minha avó. Um abraço!
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart...this ole coffee pot is adorable!!!
