Looking Up

When visiting a new city I often find some beautiful architectural details in the older buildings.  If you look up at these buildings you will see some intricate craftsmanship no longer found in new buildings today.

At Kim Klassen's Cafe today is Texture Tuesday and the theme just happens to be Look Up.  I edited a photo taken recently on a trip to a city with some wonderous pieces of art on its buildings.  I did a lot of walking and was looking up the whole time.

Kim's Sunkissed texture was used twice - at soft light and linear burn.

Here are a few more views of the architectural wonders you would see if you Look Up.

You really have to appreciate this workmanship.  There was a lot of rehab and restoration work being done while we were there and I am glad to see these buildings being saved and cherished.

Does anyone recognize this city?  Do you live there?  Here's a clue:   it is in the upper mid-west.

Visit Kim's Texture Tuesday to see what others are seeing when they LOOK UP.
