A Country Drive

The end of September brought beautiful, almost summer-like weather.  The days were warm and the beaches are still drawing a lot of people.  It's an older crowd and they enjoy just sitting and reading in the sun. 

There's not much color around here yet so we took a ride inland hoping to find some colorful foliage.  Still too early.

Farmers have been busy with the haying. 



You can see there's hay in this barn but taking it out could cause total collapse.

  6. I see ramshackle barns around here - so sad that they are in that state.
    We've started our corn and bean harvest, too.

  8. Love the photos! I really like the first one with the hay in the foreground. I enjoy seeing all the hay around here this time of year. It's just such a pretty scene.
