The Last Day

Labor Day -  it came so fast.  I had big plans for the day and they involved my camera.  I was going to take lots and lots of pictures and my husband offered to drive me around.  I was up early and getting ready to go.  It was Day 2 of my 365 and I was anxious to take a really great picture.

It started to rain.  First just a little and then heavier and heavier with a little thunder and lightening thrown in for good measure.  When it seemed to be stopping I headed for the car but it started again.

It rained  poured all day from morning till dark.  I can't remember when we had that much rain all in one day.

So the only photo I took was when I leaned out my kitchen window and snapped a bud on my Rose of Sharon bush.  It's the only thing in my garden that still looks good.

Visiting today with Nancy for  Tuesday Muse.

  4. All our best laid plans... however, that snap of the Rose of Sharon is subtle and gorgeous in its dripping beauty.

  5. You may have shot only one, but it's a winner! I didn't know what a Rose of Sharon looks like, and I guess I'm named after it :) What a lovely bloom!

  6. Wow! Your 1 photo turned out to be a stunner. Sorry about the rain but perhaps you needed it. We had a few showers but nothing major.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
