Breaking Free

School started this week and not everyone is happy about it.  After only two days this boy can't wait to break free.  When that bell rings he's out of there as fast as can be.

It's hard to adjust to a schedule and rules and study after a summer of freedom.

Enjoy it while you can kiddo.  Wait till you're an adult and have to go to work every day.  You'll really want to be breaking free then.

The song I Want to Break Free by Queen,  as suggested by Kathy at Song-ography, was responsible for this post.

  1. Oooh, great grab. It's as if he's chasing the end of summer. I know I am.

  6. Love this! It is a tough transition back to the books. I agree about the 'enjoy it while you can' thought. It's been interesting to watch my son adjust to 'real life' ... where he's working about 60 hours a week! He's wondering where all his time went!!

  7. So true! That initial adjustment is difficult, but soon it will feel old hat.

  9. Great shot - Looks like he's really flying like the wind. I love seeing the kids coming out of the school at the end of their day. Some are just so excited to be "free" - Yep, enjoy it while it lasts.

  14. What a fantastic interpretation AND capture for "I Want to Break Free". I am so lovin' visiting everyone who links up and seeing all the different directions one song can take photographers. I can so "feel" the sense of escape and breaking free from this shot. Bravo! Thanks for linking up to Song-ography this week :)
