A Song in My Head


Don't you just hate it when there's a song stuck in your head and it keeps going on and on?  I've had one stuck ever since Kathy at You'll Shoot Your Eye Out started Song-ography.  She gives you a song title as a prompt and you are free to interpret it any way you like..  It's a mash-up of photography and song.

The song that we're playing this week is Up on the Roof.  Here is what I saw when I went Up on the Roof in Rome.


It seems everyone puts an antenna up on the roof.

    I love the light in that 2nd shot. Antennae-funny we'd find them an eye sore to take photos of here, but put them in the right setting-camera magnet. Hope you're breathing in the wonderful Maine air today like I am.

    Sorry for the "brain worms" I'm giving everybody with these song titles, lol. It could be worse, I COULD use "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" for a prompt one of these weeks, haha. Ah Rome!!!! And you are so right about the antannae overload there. But somehow, it looks perfectly fine and acceptable when surrounded by Rome. Funny, because my neighbors would KILL me if we put up an antannae or satellite dish here. When in Rome, right? Great shots. That golden light in the second shot is marvelous. I caught the Forum in R ome during the Golden Hour one year...I just couldn't believe how many photos I took because the gold light on those old structures was just mesmerizing! Thanks for joining up with Song-ography this week!

    Fabulous views. If Kathy does the "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" prompt as she teased, I might have to load up the car and visit Phili and sing it to her at her door step. all.night.long! Yea!

    Here comes the sun ..am singing it already for the last coiple of hours to the absolute dismay of my family! I have to admit that I am not a talented singer though.
    Your rooftop shots are wonderful...especiallt as it is Rome in the evening! Love it!
