Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Another week, another hunt.  Gee, this week went by very fast.  Spring break here means a break from the cold and snow and finally a little bit of sunshine which makes it look like spring might break through,  Still plenty of snow on the ground though.  Nothing blooming here.

The first prompt in this week's hunt is WATER.  I live near water and have most of my life.  I could sit at the beach for hours - just wish there were more hours to do so.   I wasn't planning to do an ocean picture this week but it was such a pretty day so I couldn't resist.

At this time of year it's pretty quiet around here and I like to go out to the pier and watch the fishing boats.  At the end of the day the EMPTY traps are piled up and the lobsters are on their way to a boiling pot somewhere.

WEATHERED -   The rowboats tied at the pier are showing the effects of being out in the rough weather.

An ORDINARY fishing boat is anchored at the breakwater at the end of the day.

FRESH seafood!  As they say around here , the fish you eat tonight was swimming out there this morning.

Looking forward to visiting all the other hunters this weekend.  Please come over to Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday and check it out.

Hope to see you all again next week.

  4. Gorgeous wave crash. I don't have much luck with those-timing is everything. I like your processing on the dinghies. Happy Easter.
