Just Me

This week's challenge for Photo Art Friday is Self Portrait.  When I first read that my initial reaction was a silent groan  and a thought about skipping this week.  But then I knew I had to at least try one.  After all one of my self imposed goals was to work outside my comfort area.   I started experimenting with the different effects in Photoshop Elements.  I didn't know how much fun that could be and it was hard to stop.  I finally came up with one I thought I could use.

    Stephanie, I bet your personality is as colorful as your portrait ... and subconsiously, you know it too, because you painted yourself that way. Very touching picture ...

    SO Creative!! I think I heard groans coming from around the globe on this one. It's a really challenging thing to expose ourselves to the world. So glad you persisted and actually had fun doing it ... AND what a great result!

    So did you intentionally put a mask across your face? Does that mean you hid behind a mask and don't show the real you?

    Getting out of your comfort zone (read: self portrait)... I still don't have the courage to do so. You've accomplished your goal! I love the way you've edit your selfie picture, full of color and very artistic.

    really fun and unusual. I know what you mean about getting caught up in the fun. I, too, like to move BEyond where I am comfortable and cozy and yours encourages me to just keep DOing that!!
