For Photo Art Friday the theme this week is Still Life. That was a perfect theme for me since I had been taking pictures of my pear before I ate it. I've been taking pictures of everything around the house just for practice,
While I ate my pear I did a litlle photo altering.

ReplyDeleteI love your pear still life. I have done quite a few images with pears myself and I love how they turn out. Pears are beautiful fruit.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about a pear that makes it beautiful in any situation? (Maybe I just answered my own question.....always beautiful!) Fabulous still life and fabulous piece of photo art .
ReplyDeleteOh, I have to try photograph a pear,- wonderful shot and processing!
ReplyDeleteMonica:)
I love the way you use that texture - you make a halved pear look *interesting*! Not only tasty, but thought provoking, too... Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteNice processing.

ReplyDeleteyummy pieces, indeed :) great collage!
ReplyDeleteLove your last edit of that succulent pear!
ReplyDeletePears are so wonderful to photograph and yours is no exception. In fact the ones I have bought recently are better to photograph than to eat! I love the texture you used.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done. Isn't it fun to practice photographing even ordinary things to see what we can come up with. I liked the edits that were done with the red colored background.
