Finding Color

This winter has been very long and colorless.  The grey skies meet the grey ocean with hardly a distinction between them.    Boats are dirty shades of white.  Land is covered by snow which is now dirty grey.  I miss color and it is hard to find....until I moved further down the pier.  I think I found a fisherman with a love of color.

The buoys hanging on the shanty add another touch of color.

I'm so looking forward to spring and all the colors it will bring.

5 Bits of Randomness

There are some expressions you hardly hear any more.  Such as:

1.   Take a long walk off a short pier.

2.  Still waters run deep.

3.  Between a rock and a hard place

4.  The bloom is off the rose.

5.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  That's how I'll feel tomorrow when I turn the calendar page to March.

Visiting today at Nancy's Random 5 Friday and Kim's Friday Finds.
