Other people's gardens look so much nicer than mine. I enjoy peeking into them . This one in particular is a favorite of mine.
Kim Klassen's texture Elevate was used at soft light.
I like the look of these pots - just the right amount of aging.
If you want the look of aged pots just brush on plain yogurt and sit them in the shade until they look the way you want. Or, mix buttermilk with moss and lather that on the pot. This is the time when you want high fat content not the low fat version.
Rusty pipe adds a nice touch.
Add a quiet corner where you can sip your morning coffee or evening wine.
How did they keep their flowers looking so good all summer? By now mine are pretty much done blooming and have turned brown.
It's apparent they have a ball in this garden.

and Outdoor World.
Wow. Do you know these people or did you steal from their garden from a distance? Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThat lead shot is wonderful how you were able to get the shadow to frame the shed window. Well done. As for ageing my pots-I'm good with just trying to remember to keep what's in them watered....I'm so not a gardener.
I am amazed! lovely creative set of photos, very nicely added textures.
ReplyDeletegreetings.
Love your shots of the pots great processing....
ReplyDeleteYour processing on these shots is awesome and what a lovely garden...They must attend to it on a daily basis...Love the pots....
ReplyDeleteyou obviously have never seen my garden - I win the prize for the worst ever! Your photos are cool.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos !
ReplyDeleteI love weathered pots and rusty ornaments, have some in my garden too :-)
Nice week,
Sylvia
Yes, my posts are looking pretty disgusting about right now...thanks for the recipe for moss on pots. Lovely photos abound.
ReplyDeleteSo many great images all at one spot!! The buoys on the ladder...so great.
ReplyDeleteHaving recently perused the flea market for galvanized watering cans and such, I can tell you that gorgeous specimen would be about 30.00 in this neck of the woods. My flowers too are looking lanky and tired...the calendar page of September flutters and I fear that the fall colors will take over early this year simply because I can't use CPR on my petunias!
ReplyDeletethese are lovely shots each one has its own charm and this morning we passed two amazing HUGE windowsill pots with at least a 8 dozen white Petunia plants in each which were all in very good health, ours are long gone so yes I wonder what is they do that we don't.
ReplyDeletebeautiful garden vignettes.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos.
ReplyDeleteYes! I want to go on a garden tour with you! Fabulous photos and love the texture in each one.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos! I'm really drawn to the clothes pin photo - just lovely.
ReplyDeleteMine always looks like a mess, so I appreciate a good garden. I love these aged pots.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a gardener but I so admire other people's efforts. The one you picture here is just beautiful. Love those aged pots. Wish I could be beautiful if I rubbed moss and buttermilk on myself...lol.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely shots. I like the bench in the corner and the shot below it is so pretty. Love those glass balls to. My mom had one once but someone stole it out of the yard.
ReplyDeleteMy garden is so full of weeds now. When it gets hot outside I can't handle being in the heat so the weeds just take over. At least it looks pretty in the late spring, early summer months.
What a wonderful post! Such gorgeous shots, and I love your edits.
ReplyDeleteThis is a delightful garden. Your shots show it off well. I am going to try your tip about yogurt to "age" the planters. Good one!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous garden... I thought I saw you sneaking around my yard with your camera! Lol -- just kidding. My "garden" is a disaster. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful array of gardens. I like the rustic look and feel. Great tip using yogurt.
ReplyDeleteA lovely garden indeed! Thanks for the tip about aging pots.
ReplyDeleteOh am I happy I stopped by for a visit to your garden photos! These are just lovely, and make me long for a garden like this. Gardens are so individualized and interesting how they take on the owner's personality. Aged pots and old pieces always make a garden feel inviting, and that is how these photos show this garden you "peeked" into. LOVELY!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden area. I really like the tree shadow in the first photo.
