Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I didn't think I was going to make it over to the Scavenger Hunt  this week.  The storm which was described as an "Epic" or historic  storm was threatening my photo hunt.

I did look around the house to see what I could use.  Fortunately I stocked up my supply of M & M's for the storm and they fit the bill for :

The Small Things

They may be small but I had a lot of them.  Wasn't their Super Bowl commercial cute?  It featured the red one -  my personal favorite.

Illustration

Proper posture for a lady is illustrated in this 1950's book of beauty titled Personality Unlimited,  a very interesting read.

Valentine -  My collection of Valentines from the 1950's.

By the time I got to the next prompt the storm had let up and I was able to get out.  It wasn't easy getting around but I just followed the snowplow.

Art -  This mermaid is swimming in snow.

Window Beauty  -   What can I say?  This was the best I could do for today.

That's all for this week.  Come on over to Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday to view to see what others have found.

  1. Glad you survived the epic-ness. Love that snowplow shot. I did not venture out yesterday except to continually shovel. My back so so sore today.
M and M's yum. I'm dieting and have had zero candy since before Halloween, but I'm down more than 15 pounds. It's a trade off.
Hope you have a great day.

  3. Love the vintage valentines. Very few of us bother to save such things, then we are reminded how beautiful they are when we see them again. Nice work.

  8. Wow, you got lots of snow. They started out calling for up to 6" of snow for us. Then then backed it off to 2" and we ended up with no snow and a lot of wind.

Your vintage Valentine's and M&M's are fun.
