It's been awhile since I've been out walking and clicking. So many excuses - the weather, the holidays, too busy, it's snowing.......But no more excuses.
As a child, if I was annoying my motherm she would say, "Go take a long walk on a short pier". That's what I did this week. I went walking on a short pier. It may have been a short pier but it was loaded with things to photograph. I focused on the things the lobstermen need to do their work.
To see where others are walking this week come on over to Walk and Click Wednesday .
Also visiting This or That Thursday.
You discovered some real treasures here, Stephanie! I especially like your macros of the rope, but boats tickle my fancy for the love of water! Thanks for joining Walk and Click Wednesdays!
ReplyDeleteCape Porpoise served you well. My fave is that last shot. You are wise to visit the pier this time of year. Somehow in summer with all the valet parking and tourists, the place has lost it's flavor. No wharf should be glamourous. You defintely caught the working side. click on.
ReplyDeleteVivid colors on your pier - love the buoys and lobster cages.
ReplyDeleteHi! I like the photo of many boats on the sea. Your macro rope photos are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt's a different world there! Things I've only heard of or seen in a movie...I love lobster by the way!
ReplyDeleteLove the red and green floats. They look like popsicles.
ReplyDeleteSo cool - I love these!!
ReplyDeleteLovely series of images, my favourite is the boats with the sunlight on them. I don't if the sun is setting in that image or not but it has an 'end of day' feel to it
